Wonderful! We were greeted immediately upon arriving, our teas were served within 3 minutes or so – super fast! We ordered the Lemon Chicken and Sweet and Sour combo with steamed rice and egg rolls, also had the egg drop soup for an appetizer. The soup was just right, not thick like some restaurants, not a bright yellow too, just right! Oh my gosh the breeding on my lemon chicken was so good, lite and crispy, not over battered, just perfect. The Sweet and Sour was great as well. We will definitely be back!!!
First time tonight to House of Joy. Heard the food was best Chinese in town. Also saw in advance they had pork egg fu yung. Our party of 4 was absolutely blown away with the freshness of our entrees, the enormity of the servings, and the attentive service. We were truly amazed and will return soon.
Best freeaking chinese food ever!!!! I like to think of myself as a chinese connoisseur, and i have tried over 50 places… this is BY FAR the best place in San Antonio.
Food was quite good and the service was great! My kids enjoyed looking at the fish in the fish tank. Overall I would revisit this restaurant again to try some other items on the menu.
